Coordinated Health’s Vice President of Imaging Services is responsible for the performance and profitability of our Radiologists and Imaging service lines including musculoskeletal, women’s health, and cardiovascular modalities. This role is accountable for the recruitment and management of Radiologists as well as growth of the Imaging services and modalities. The VP is accountable for the processes and clinical integration needed to ensure an effective, efficient and reliably produced patient and physician experience.
The VP of Imaging Services will collaborate and partner closely with Care Delivery teams and Company leadership across functional areas (e.g. finance, technology, analytics, revenue cycle) to drive clinically integrated products and services as well as new growth opportunities. The Vice President serves as the strategic operational lead and will be directly responsible for clinical operational excellence and execution of new health care delivery paradigms.

The VP of Imaging actively identifies and leads, along with the Care Delivery, key opportunities that lead to growth, revenue generation and product integration.
Imaging Services Management
Responsible for the overall administration, clinical planning, development and operations of imaging services through our hospitals, ASCs, and out-patient clinics.
Oversee performance and profitability of our Radiology physician team.
Manage Imaging team member performance, analyze individual and team performance against key performance indicators and metrics, foster an environment of candor and collaboration to address performance deficiencies and provide coaching/mentoring to ensure the highest levels of individual and team performance. Indicators and metrics of program quality include, but are not limited to HCAHPs metrics, clinical staff quality, staffing/revenue%, and patient/employee satisfaction including turnover.
Provide leadership and direction in developing a culture of high reliability through rapid, cross-functional problem-solving toward zero defects.
Drives the effective recruitment, training, development, and management of all staff to meet the needs and growth targets of patient acquisitions and delivery and the margins set forth by the Senior VP of Care Providers & Product Lines.
Develop business plans and make recommendations for expanding the Imaging services modalities and referrals. Support patient acquisition efforts and identify opportunities for volume growth through existing locations and new referral channels.
Lead asset procurement analysis and business planning for all growth initiatives.
Coordinate with Patient Acquisitions, Care Delivery & Product Line teams, PM Office and Revenue Management, Technology, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and HR teams to promote quality care and excellent patient and employee satisfaction.
Work closely with techs and non-clinical staff to ensure campus-wide efficiencies are produced on a daily basis.
Manage and support a continuum based approach to patient care via provided reports / dashboard on a daily basis.
Participate in activities to promote awareness and market the services of the clinic in the surrounding community (health fairs, seminars, employer relations, community outreach) as needed.
Any other tasks or projects as assigned by Senior VP of Care Providers & Product Lines.
Provide leadership and direction over Imaging modalities and functions to translate the business vision and strategy into clear operational goals, objectives, and tactics to ensure that the necessary organizational support and infrastructure needed is in place to meet or exceed business objectives. This includes tracking growth, financial trends, clinical and quality measures, patient satisfaction, and performance measures against the strategic and operating plans.
Collaborate with the Senior VP of Care Providers & Product Lines to develop and prepare annual business plans to ensure business goals and quality targets are achieved.Support development and management of campus budgets and manage budget requests with support from Care Delivery management.Manage expenses to budget and product line goals including provider labor and clinical supplies.
Provide support to Care Delivery & Care Provider teams to identify and resolve complex and cross-functional operational issues. In conjunction with the Senior VP of Care Providers & Product Lines, develop measurement tools to track and trend operational efficiency and financial performance, including management dashboards. Direct and monitor and/or lead cross-functional process design teams to develop and implement solutions to complex operational problems.
Compliance, Quality, & Clinical Integration
Work closely with Clinical Integration, Care Delivery, and provider/product teams to exceed clinical outcomes for imaging services.Ensure that provider and clinical staff are achieving the highest quality outcomes and patient satisfaction by utilizing best practice and evidenced based medicine.
Ensures appropriate policies and practices pertaining to the management and operations in conformance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, as well as Coordinated Health practices.Supports Leadership and Imaging teams to ensure providers and clinical services offered are approved and operate in compliance with CH policy, procedure and government agencies such as Joint Commission, DOH, etc.
Oversee the effective and efficient implementation of quality and patient safety improvement initiatives for imaging including, but not limited to infection control, patient safety, and educational efforts in collaboration with Clinical Integration and Quality.Manage the clinical organizational culture and provide leadership skills to foster an organization of high reliability and excellence in patient care
Partner with the marketing teams to develop effective marketing material.
Gain knowledge as to the purpose, organization, and policies of the community’s health care/imaging systems, sufficient to interact with the other health care providers in the area.

Interface with the community, medical staff, administrative leadership and key services lines and functions to assure productive and positive working relationships.
Communicate decisions, needs, and goals to management team and imaging providers and staff.

Minimum 10 years of progressive imaging practice management
Proven ability to recruit and manage Radiologists and imaging technicians

Knowledge of health care delivery systems, clinical care and services, and associated regulatory requirements
Knowledge of managed care environments and modern health care management in an integrated health care delivery system

Work location and travel expectations:
Lehigh & Wyoming Valley, PA. Position requires travel to support greater Lehigh Valley and new expansion markets as implemented. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be required
