Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is a Business and Technology Applications Analyst. Develop solutions to complex problems as requested by various departments within the organization, such as University Advancement, Financial Aid and many various auxiliary systems such as University Scholarships, Office of International Education (OIED), and Institutional Research.
Develop and support a high number of complex information technology solutions that require use of diverse platforms and technologies, including, but not limited to, Oracle, Unix, Java Script, HTML, CSS, Java, Groovy/Grails, PL/SQL, SQL, and FormFusion.
Use extensive knowledge of the organization’s business rules, systems, and data.
Manage technical aspects of large-scale projects with cross-functional team members.
Mentor and train co-workers and customers when necessary.
Use extensive knowledge of existing systems to guide new projects away from conflicting procedures.
Work with cross-functional project teams.
Take a technical leadership role in all assigned projects.
3+ years of Banner experience; and knowledge of object-oriented programming and Banner web-based technologies.
Experience in development of complex technical applications.
