Primary Responsibilities:Provides direct day to day supervision of UM case management staff including licensed and unlicensed staff 10 to 12 RNs, LVNs and Coordinators. Develops and implements new policies and procedures Orients / trains UM case management staff on UM processesProvides senior management with analysis of case management reportsProvides input and feedback on employee performance and conducts counseling and disciplinary actions as necessary Performs UM Case Management duties as necessary
Required Qualifications: Current, unrestricted California RN license or ability to obtain 1+ years clinical in ambulatory, hospital, or SNF setting 1+ years prior authorization experience Computer proficiency, must be able to type, toggle between multiple screens and use MS Word, Outlook and navigate in Windows environmentPreferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing 1+ Lead, supervisory / management experience Prior experience with Government Programs such as Medicare, Medicaid and MediCal Knowledge of special needs programsWhat's the first thing that happens when one of the most successful physician groups in Orange County comes together with a global leader in health care?
