Participate in analysis of a large international research project, the Saudi National Mental Health Survey (SNMHS). The objective of the study is to estimate the psychiatric morbidity in different regions in Saudi Arabia and magnitude of disability caused by it. The SNMHS is a population-based, epidemiological survey which was administered to a nationally representative sample of Saudis living in urban and rural areas. This sample covers 13 regions in the Kingdom. The SNMHS is part of the World Health Organization (WHO) World Mental Health (WMH) Survey Initiative. Dr. Ronald Kessler in the Department of Health Care Policy is the PI of the WMH Survey Initiative. His analytic team serves as the Data Coordination Center for the WMH Survey Initiative. This person will be responsible for data managing and large datasets. This person will also be responsible for implementing standard statistical analysis and linear and logistic modeling using SAS programming. The person will also participate in collaborative meetings with the lab.
This is a term position through January 1, 2019, with the possibility of renewal.

Bachelor's degree, in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, or related quantitative field. Two or more years of standard statistical model fitting and checking techniques required. Advanced education may count toward years of experience.
