Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Assoc GME Program Specialist.
In this role, the successful candidate Performs work primarily in an administrative capacity within the scope of secretarial duties of major administrative functions.
Responsible for providing support for the Senior Training Program Specialist for Dental programs
Assists the Senior GPS with the following processes to the extent necessary to coordinate follow-up and facilitate communication for assigned programs a. I-9 processes b. visa applications c. On-boarding and Credentialing Process d. Advancement Process e. Termination Process f. Data entry g. Annual IPRO Survey h. Verification Process i. House Staff Record Maintenance j. House Staff Orientation k. Managing Program Agreements l. Ensuring that all programs have evaluations, milestones, schedules, Scope of Practice, and Duty Hours in New Innovations. m. Maintaining program information data in New Innovations
Program communication: Organizes meetings, assists in preparing agendas and handouts (i.e. for Special Reviews of assigned programs).
Manages all Out-Elective applications for the Out-Elective Subcommittee. Prepares all application packets for review by the committee members. Monitors programs to ensure timely submission of applications.
Performs duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a 1. Bachelor degree in business administration, health care administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as organizational leadership skills. 3. Knowledge and understanding of the accreditation process of Graduate Medical/Dental Education. 4. Familiarity with the CODA accreditation requirements. 5. Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management. 6. Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently. 7. Excellent time management skills. 8. Ability to work well under pressure. 9. Ability to manage multiple projects and to multi task while paying attention to details. 10. Computer proficiency with word processing, data management and analysis, and preparation of data for scientific presentation (e.g., in PowerPoint, Excel and New Innovations is highly recommended. 11. Knowledge of standard office practices and ability to use office equipment.
