EF-Establishes and maintains high horticultural standards and practices EF-Performs and oversees the growth and maintenance of all plants being produced for the program EF-Monitors and maintains all greenhouse and growing facilities and systems EF-Keeps inventory of growing supplies and equipment EF-Provides advice to faculty, staff, and students about plant production procedures EF-Collaborates with coordinator, facilitator, and grounds manager as part of the program team EF-Informs students of College and department policies and procedures EF-Helps students with problems and makes appropriate referrals EF-Supervises staff and student employees in the department OF-Attends meetings and/or attends workshops and special classes OF-May operate instructional equipment Performs other job related duties as assigned
Associate degree or equivalent and over one (1) year of relevant full-time experience.
Associate degree in Horticulture or equivalent and over one (1) year of relevant full-time experience
Must exhibit strong communication and organizational skills. Must possess the ability to collaborate with Horticulture students, staff, and faculty to attain program goals.
