They support short and long term operational / strategic business activities by developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models. They also develop and implement effective / strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes. Employees in jobs labeled with SCA must support a government Service Contract Act (SCA) agreement.Primary Responsibilities:Monthly scheduled reportsAd - hoc reportsDesign / Maintain Access DatabasesDesign / Maintain SHO website documentsApplication training and supportWork with EDI, NPI, ICD - 10, FTP and medical claims processing programsModerate work experience within own functionSome work is completed without established proceduresBasic tasks are completed without review by othersSupervision / guidance is required for higher level tasks
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED (or higher) Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Access (creating databases, working and creating queries, familiar with SQL queries, writing VBA coding, familiar linking databases, creating user's security levels, maintaining databases), Microsoft Word (creating forms and templates), and Microsoft Excel (creating complex formulas, templates, working with delimited documents (i.e. CRV, PRN, TXT), creating and working with macros and writing VBA coding) Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint (creating and editing decks) Previous experience with website maintenance Experience with training and support Familiar with EDI, NPI, FTP, and ICD - 10 Familiarity with creating programs for claims processingPreferred Qualifications: Experience with GeoAccessCareers at UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual.
