This position performs transfer specific recruitment and outreach duties including but not limited to the coordination and implementation of admissions advising at regional community colleges on the Western side of Washington State; liaison to academic departmental advisors; liaison to the Director of Articulation and Transfer Policy; coordination of transfer visitations and programs in Western WA; knowledge and appropriate dissemination of University transfer policy and practice; and support of general admission duties and functions. This role's workstation is located in Western WA. It is a work from home position collaborating with other regional staff in Western WA.

Conditions of Employment
Position works from a home office; EWU will provide university laptop, internet connection, and other office equipment needed for performance of job duties.
Position requires use of a personal vehicle when performing job duties; proof of insurance and a valid driver's license are required for this position; mileage for use of personal vehicle for completion of job duties will be reimbursed at the approved state rates.
Ability to be flexible regarding travel and working non-traditional hours, when necessary including travel within territory, away from Regional office (including evenings and weekend events and multi-day trips).
This position, during the course of university employment will be involved in the receipt of, or accountability for, university fund or other items of value, as well as the unsupervised access with the developmentally disabled, vulnerable adults or children under the age of 18. Successful applicant will be required to pass a background check.
This position is part of the PSE bargaining unit.
Position requires some physical work, lifting boxes and set up of booth displays.
The successful candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, involving recruitment materials.
Position will require extensive sitting and walking.

Bachelor's degree in Higher Education Administration; Marketing, Communications or related field;
At least two years of work experience in transfer admissions, recruitment or student advising;
Ability to participate in evening and weekend events and multi-day recruitment trips, which will require a valid Driver's License and clean driving record;
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, pay attention to detail and produce desired results;
Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures regarding transfer admission and records management;
Advanced computer skills to include: Microsoft Office Suite and SCT Banner (or equivalent); proficient user of laptop computer, projector, and cell phone; two years increasingly responsible office experience;
Position will require extensive sitting and walking; selected candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 25lbs. involving recruiting materials.
Candidate must demonstrate interest, ability and/or experience promoting cultural competency, universal accessibility, and/or diversity.
Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Personnel, Public Relations or related field;
Demonstrated ability to manage programs from planning through implementation to completion;
Knowledge and understanding of Eastern Washington University;
