MSK is seeking a Systems Analyst to join our Health Informatics team. In this role, the Systems Analyst maintains and supports the implementation and ongoing operation of all clinical systems used by the department of Health Informatics, primarily focusing on, but not limited to, CIS, ClinDoc, ePrescribe, EMR, Forms on Demand, TeleTracking, Ambulatory and Ancillary systems, Patient Engagement, Connectivity.
Implement methods, procedures, and system enhancements including staff training and regulatory compliance to meet the needs of the Institution in supporting and enhancing the above systems.
Ensure institution wide compliance with government defined privacy requirements
Monitor all activities associated with the daily operation of all computer systems within Health Informatics scope
Effectively initiate customized computer programs to collect, retrieve and analyze data as necessary to fulfill administrative, research and regulatory data requirements ie. JCAHO, NYSDOH, NCDB and SPARCS
Support the Health Informatics applications, ongoing maintenance, upgrades, enhancements, interfaces and integration with existing and new systems.
Troubleshoot, analyze and implement resolutions to systems related problems, implements and periodically tests disaster recovery procedures and system audits for all systems within the department
Establish work schedules and priorities to ensure that workflow is controlled and meets the regulatory compliance and operational needs of the department
Capable of building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions

Experience with SMS Invision Applications and SMS Online Architecture Systems (OAS)
Healthcare or I/S equivalent experience preferred
