Jesuit Volunteer Corps (JVC) Northwest is hiring a Director of Programs. Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Director of Programs will oversee the Jesuit Volunteer/AmeriCorps Program and the Jesuit Volunteer EnCorps Program. The Director of Programs will be a member of the Senior Management team of JVC Northwest. JVC Northwest is seeking a person with a commitment to the mission and values of JVC Northwest; excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills; at least five (5) years demonstrated experience in program management, including program development, group training and facilitation, conflict and problem solving skills, and resource development; and, a commitment to promoting equity throughout the organization. Personal commitment to program goals, and demonstration of ability to design, deliver, and expand programs, is required. This is a full time, salaried (exempt) position based near Portland, OR in Milwaukie, with some travel. The Director of Programs reports to the Executive Director.

An undergraduate degree required, master’s degree preferred in nonprofit management, program design, ministry or counseling, advanced training and/or education in related fields.
At least five (5) years demonstrated experience in program management including program development, group training and facilitation, outreach and marketing, and resource development is desired.
