Department Name: 7H871:ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY - JOINT AND SPINE
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery seeks a RN to work in our Spine and Joint Clinic at Good Samaritan.
The Staff Nurse working in conjunction with physicians, staff and other healthcare providers will oversee and assist specific areas including but not limited to telephone triage, AEHR task management, test results; assist in pre-screening of new patient referrals and ensure availability of pertinent medical records.
Will respond to patient and referring MD phone calls in an efficient manner, provide patient teaching in preparation for tests and/or procedures, monitor room utilization and turnover for effective use and chaperone visit as needed, room patients, obtain vital signs, obtain full medical history, perform medication reconciliation, review of systems and other pertinent information, and all other duties as assigned.
Must be an experienced RN that has excellent problem solving skills in triaging patient needs.

Prefer more than three years related experience.
