This position will be located at Loyola Law School (LLS) in Los Angeles, California and report to the Dean. The position will also work in partnership with external stakeholders, including a senior consultant, a prominent figure in the area of disability law and policy, in developing a strategic and operating plan for the Center.
Typically a Master's degree in public policy, technology, political science, law or related field. Juris doctorate preferred. Incumbent will be expected to keep abreast of related issues faced by higher education and the Center.
Minimum of one year experience working independently.
Must have a demonstrated interest in disability issues and understanding of data innovation, machine learning and artificial intelligence and the possible application to addressing disability and accessibility issues. Familiarity with IT infrastructure that enables connected devices and the internet of things.
Demonstrated ability to ensure public transparency and accountability, as well as measure and improve outcomes appropriate for the Center and project goals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
Demonstrated interpersonal and oral communication skills necessary to effectively articulate Center goals within a political environment.
