These will be capital projects involved in updating and consolidating functionality in various systems related to provider demographics. You will be responsible for multiple projects simultaneously. Primary Responsibilities:Anticipating issues and acting proactively to address potential system environment conflictsGathering and updating project materials, project documentation, business flows, and lessons learned documents Speaking to details of the project to both the business and technical teams through the implementation of all projects Utilizing organizational resources appropriately and engaging required teams to complete scheduled changes on strict timelines.Management of key projects to ensure successful completion Managing cross-functional interdependencies Improving processes to optimize performance and value over time Providing risk management and issue/problem resolution as required
Required Qualifications:Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience5+ years of IT Project Management experience5+ years of working hands-on with all aspects of Configuration ManagementProficiency with MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Sharepoint) Preferred Qualifications:Familiar with Release Engineering and Deployment Tools (ex. XL Deploy)Knowledge of UNIX and OracleKnowledge of Jira and ALM (QC) Available for off hours work to meet demanding project deployment timelinesStrong attention to detailAble to organize and implement multiple projects simultaneouslyProject Management Professional (PMP) CertificationHealthcare Industry experience Careers with Optum.
