The Heart Institute unites 16 centers and programs to diagnose and treat the full spectrum of heart conditions for all patients, from infants to those with advanced disease. Summary of Essential Job Duties: The Heart Institute Clinical Nurse III under the direction of the Associate Director, performs a variety of direct patient care activities or tasks specific to the unit/needs of the patient population. He/she maintains competency skills including ability to provide care to special patient populations and patients with diverse cultural backgrounds. The CN III will interact with physicians, extenders, administration and have excellent communication and follow through. The CN III will coordinate care of the cardiology adult patients and ancillary services. He/she can identify safety concerns in the age related population and institutes additional measures to provide a safe environment and identify development milestones in the age-related population.
