The Information Services Department is seeking a Storage Solutions Architect to join their growing New Jersey team. In this position, you'll have the opportunity of working at our brand new data center.
Provide advanced technical and consultative services for MSKCC's Network Attached Storage (NAS) environment.
Create high level and low level design specifications for support of new and/or existing clinical and research systems.
Provide technical leadership throughout all phases of the implementation and life-cycle management thereafter.
Develop strategies, policies and best NAS practice through participation in team meetings and through other direct contributions. Develop and cultivate strong end-user/departmental relationships.
Support Storage Manager and Program/Project Managers in the design and development of the technical content as defined in the project plan. Prepare technical architectural and implementation design documents and works with the management to develop the implementation plan. Help to identify and leverage vendor resources in order to satisfy the technical needs and objectives of the implementation.
Perform NAS system administrator duties, and provide troubleshooting/support services as required.
Bachelor's degree and 4-6 years experience;
OR 6+ years hands on experience in a dynamic storage environment in a healthcare setting.
NTP VFM, StorSimple, Seven-10 StorFirst Migration Tool, Primary Data Data Sphere Virtualization Tool.
EMcopy, Treesize, Vice Versa tools.
Hardware/software configuration and administration.
Reporting and Capacity planning.
Cava, iCap Anti-Virus setup and troubleshooting.
