The Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life prepares Tufts students to become active citizens and community leaders. As the only university-wide college of its kind, its mission is to engage Tufts students in meaningful community building, public service experiences, and transformational learning. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Programs and Administration, the Business Manager will be responsible for local management of financial and grant administration for Tisch College, including helping to provide oversight of its $7M budget and sponsored research portfolio. The Business Manager is a key member of the senior staff team.
Generally requires a minimum of four-year college degree; advanced degree is preferred.
Requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in specific field; requires previous management experience.
Skills and experience in budget development, budget modeling, scenario and strategic planning. Demonstrated budget management, planning, and financial analysis skills are needed with prior experience supporting leadership.
Must be able to adhere to time sensitive deadlines and bring a strong service orientation to the job.
