Job Description Summary Rosalind Franklin University Health Clinics welcome applications for full-time patient centered medical home practice lead provider. He/She will be responsible for oversight and implementation of a Family Practice Physician team with the goal of establishing and maintaining NCQA certification of the practice. The practice will serve both the RFUMS student and employee populations as well as the general public and will support the educational needs of RFUMS medical and health sciences students as negotiated with the University.

The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing professional gynecological, obstetrical and infertility care for patients following established standards and practices. Assists Medical Director, students and staff in coordinating patient care.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Medical Director, provides general primary care to patients in a sensitive, non-judgmental manner to persons of all ages, economic levels and cultural backgrounds. Responsibilities include providing professional medical services including (i) office visits, telephone consultations, and medical and surgical procedures, as appropriate; (ii) the supervision and training of University students (consistent with the University’s programmatic outcomes) assigned to Physician; and (iii) provision of clinical services (including direct patient care) in support of research conducted by the University.
Required Education & Experience Graduation from accredited medical school and residency required. Completion of Fellowship programs (if applicable) also required. Successful candidates must (i) possess an unlimited license to practice medicine in the State of Illinois; (ii) possess an unrestricted right to prescribe controlled substances and medication; (iii) be board certified, eligible or qualified in their specialty. Must achieve a background check clearance.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Successful candidates must also possess excellent interpersonal communication skills; strong customer service orientation and demonstrated commitment to diversity; must have strong work ethic and high level of integrity; computer literate; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; possess excellent skills in verbal, written, telephone and e-mail communications.
