St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac, MD seeks an Athletic Director to begin July 1, 2018. The mission of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School is to know and inspire each child in an inclusive community dedicated to exceptional teaching, learning, and service.
Founded in 1978, St. Andrew’s is a co-educational independent day school, enrolling approximately 585 students in preschool through grade 12. There are 315 students enrolled in the Upper School. St. Andrew’s has a 19-acre Postoak Campus for students in grades 3-12 with expansive turf fields and a new (2016) 43,000-square-foot Student Center with two gyms, fitness center, and dance/wrestling room. St. Andrew’s boys compete in the MAC conference and the girls compete in the ISL.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and four to six years of experience in Athletic Leadership. Additional desired attributes include outstanding written and verbal communication skills, expertise and willingness to coach a varsity sport, exceptional time-management and organizational skills, general flexibility, good humor, and the ability to work effectively as a team member.
