Instruct Automotive Technology and/or Diesel Technology to post-secondary students. Develop and implement lab activities for assigned courses. Arrange supplemental learning activities and industry field trips when appropriate. Conduct formal classes and labs, prepare and grade exams and other student work assignments. Schedule student conferences to review individual student progress.
Associate degree in Automotive Technology and 2 years full-time work experience. Must also have ASE Certification for the area of instruction.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Minimum of four (4) years progressive automotive technician and/or technical experience. Ability to teach courses in Diesel Technology.
