In this role, you'll be responsible for the proper packing and shipping of home delivery prescriptions for our members to ensure contents arrive safely and on-time. You'll need to have strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Ability to work in a fast paced environment is essential as these prescriptions are critical to our members' health and well-being.Primary Responsibilities: Pulling and filling medication ordersStaging medication for compoundingInventory cycle counts with lead technicianMaintaining an organized, clean and well-functioning warehouseOccasional local delivery of medication to patientsPacking / Shipping medications Occasional phone calls to set up deliveries to patients
Requirements:High school diploma / GED ( or higher) or equivalent work experienceProficiency with computer and Windows PC applications including ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system application Must have (or have access to) a dependable vehicle as well as current auto insurance Must have and maintain a clean current / valid driver license in the state of NY with no moving violations during the past two (2) yearsPreferred Qualifications:1+ years of prior experience in shipping / receivingBilingual English / SpanishPhysical Requirements: Have the manual dexterity, eye hand coordination, fine and gross motor skills and tactile abilities to perform such functions as necessary to scope of practice. Be capable of working with highly technical equipment. Lift 10-25 pounds frequently and up to 60 pounds occasionally.Bend, stand, walk, squat, reach and stretch frequently.Careerswith AxelaCare.
