Job Description: Under the general supervision of the department manager, the Financial Coordinator provides financial support for the Department of Economics and for the William R. Rhodes Center for International Economics and Finance by monitoring and validating account information through Workday Financials. Provides data entry support for account studies and projections on multiple department accounts. Point of contact for pre- and post award grant management.
Bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of University systems highly desirable.
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision and to prioritize responsibilities.
Prior grant and contract experience preferred. Prefer familiarity with NSFâ™s FastLane.
Highly proficient in financial reporting and spreadsheet applications with attention to detail.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, administrative, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
Excellent communications skills, ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, multi-faceted work environment.
Proficiency in Google Apps, Microsoft Office.
