Saint Alphonsus Health System (SAHS) in Boise, Idaho is currently seeking a Director of Human Resources for their flagship facility, Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center (SARMC). This individual will serve as a member of the senior leadership team of SARMC and functions as the senior HR business partner to the medical center President. She/he will be accountable for the day-to-day oversight and administration of all HR policies, initiatives, and activities on the SARMC campus (2,800 total employees) and have a matrixed reporting relationship to the President of SARMC and the CHRO of the SAHS. This individual will be seen as a key leader within SAHS human resources, and be well positioned to play a meaningful and influential role in the ongoing success of the SAHS HR department. Additionally, as a member of Trinity Health, based in Livonia, MI, this individual will have the potential opportunity to be a part of systemwide Trinity HR initiatives, participate in professional committees and councils, and have access to a variety of resources and thought leadership. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of broad generalist HR experience in a large health system setting working as a true partner to the business; must have demonstrated success around engagement and retention strategy and experience in the resolution of complex employee relation issues. Must be versatile and agile with the ability to perform both tactically and strategically. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required. Master's degree in Human Resources or MBA preferred.
