ChildServ is currently seeking a clerical intern to provide support to the Human Resources department. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in the clerical aspect of HR. This is an unpaid internship. ChildServ is accessible to the CTA Blue line. (Located by O'Hare airport).

Internship Summary: The HR Clerical Intern will assist with & analyze HR reports (new hires & turnover), contribute to recruiting, perform an I-9 audit, sort, & file personnel & training document records, update position descriptions, as well as update employee photos. This is just a brief list of projects this position will have exposure to. Other duties & responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist in the recruiting process (candidate sourcing, conducting phone interviews, coordinating on-site interviews).
Assist with onboarding / off boarding process (job postings, interview packets, new hire packets).
Organize & maintain personnel files.
Clerical services (typing, filing, copying), including data entry.
Requirements: • Candidate must be currently enrolled in school pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field • Must be team oriented with a high level of professionalism • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task • Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Must be able to commit to working a minimum of 2 days per week. This is an unpaid internship.
