The University of Cincinnati is currently accepting applications for an Associate To. The Associate will serve as an integral member of the support team for the Office of the Provost by mainly supporting the Vice Provost and Dean of The Graduate School. The Associate will function as the frontline liaison for the office, receiving all visitors and interacting with university officers, deans, faculty, staff, students, alumni and key stakeholders with the highest professional standards. The selected candidate will provide targeted administrative support, managing calendars for key personnel, assisting with the planning and execution of various complex events, activities and communications. This person will also represent the University in interactions with outside agencies (e.g. Ohio Dept of Higher Education). The Associate will report to the Vice Provost and Dean of The Graduate School.
Job Description: Under general supervision of a designated administrator, perform responsible administrative staff functions for a designated University official.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 3 years' experience; OR associate degree with 5 years' experience; OR 7 years' experience. Degree and experience must be in a related field. Some positions may require experience in university administration.
Ideal Qualifications: In order to support and make sound recommendations to designated administrators, this position will give preference to candidates with experience creating and operating databases as well as spreadsheets. Preference will also be given to candidates with knowledge of University administration at all levels including executive and the Board of Trustees.
