The Compliance Department at MSK is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to join their team.
As the Sr. Compliance Analyst, you will:
Work with the Compliance Manager and Director to ensure compliance with third-party regulations through collaboration with staff from Patient Accounts, Physician Billing Dept, HIM and appropriate ancillary departments.
Serve as a resource for billing policies and regulations and proactively identify and address issues that may impact billing accuracy.
Conduct research on applicable laws, rules, and regulations and other standards for billing compliance as questions arise.
Analyze Clinical, and Ancillary Departmental Compliance Monitoring Reports to identify issues, patterns or trends.
Assess new developments/regulations regarding Billing Compliance and participate in the analysis of how these will affect billing activities and processes.
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of CMS and other billing regulations.
Assist with the creation and implementation of an annual evaluation of compliance with departmental plans.
Conduct non-coding audits in accordance with the Compliance work plan.
Oversee special projects involving data analytics, risk assessment and investigations as needed.
A Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience in healthcare billing, corporate compliance or hospital operations.
Masters Degree Preferred.
Demonstrated analytical skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
The ability to lead and excellent communication/writing skills.
Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing.
Knowledge of MD Audit and Data Analytics.
