Community College of Philadelphia is seeking to fill a Student Success Coach (Part-Time) position. Reporting to the Director, Corporate Solutions Operations, the part-time Student Success Coach provides support and assistance to students enrolled in the College's workforce training courses to overcome and address specific barriers to successful completion. In partnership with the Philadelphia Works/PA CareerLink offices, this position serves as a liaison between the Corporate Solutions department and local CareerLink offices, while providing on-site promotion and support services to increase student enrollment and retention in workforce training courses at the College.

Associates Degree, or two (2) years of college-level course work, in a related field required. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Any and all degree(s) must be from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.
Four (4) years of relevant work experience within higher education or workforce development is required.
Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and professionalism required.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.
Demonstrated proficiency using internet browsers and Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel required.
Local travel and access to reliable transportation is required.
Strong customer service and problem solving skills required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy are required.
Effective organizational and time management skills required.
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision is required.
Ability to maintain sensitivity, understanding and respect for a diverse academic environment, inclusive of students, faculty, and staff of varying social, economic, cultural, ideological, and ethnic backgrounds required.
