The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UWL) is pleased to invite applications for the position of Associate Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs. The Associate Vice Chancellor (AVC) assists the Provost in the administration and leadership of the units within Academic Affairs. The AVC oversees each of the Enrollment Services units (Admissions, Records & Registration, Financial Aid, Academic Advising Center & Career Services, and Institutional Research, Assessment, & Planning). In addition, the AVC oversees Graduate Studies, Grants & Sponsored Research, and the Center for Advancing Teaching & Learning. The AVC has the primary leadership role in academic planning, program review, and academic program assessment for the university and its relationship to the UW System. The AVC is expected to have a continuing commitment to Inclusive Excellence and to UW-La Crosse's mission as a public, comprehensive university.

Required qualifications include:
Earned doctorate or terminal degree from an accredited university in a discipline applicable to tenure with a department within the university.
Evidence of responsible management experience in higher education.
Evidence of direct and collaborative experience with Enrollment Services units.
Familiarity and experience with current assessment and accreditation practices.
Experience with grants
Familiarity with complex budget structures.
Demonstrated commitment to ethical and transparent leadership practices.
Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
The ability to work collaboratively and effectively across disciplines, units, and divisions across an organization.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to details, deadlines, and decision making.
Ability to use relevant data to inform decision making.
Demonstrated commitment to excellence in the advancing of teaching and learning.
Funded research experience as grant writer and/or administrator.
Administrative and/or teaching experience with graduate programs
Demonstrated record of leadership resulting in continuing improvement and innovation in the units reporting to the AVC position.
Has attained the rank of full professor at a regionally accredited university.
