Department Name: H5000: CHANDLER - RETAIL PHARMACY
Assists pharmacists in prescription medication preparation and distribution for the Kentucky Clinic Pharmacy or other ambulatory pharmacy sites operating under University of KY Pharmacy Services. Fills prescriptions in a challenging, fast-paced ambulatory/retail based setting. This position will also be responsible for technician training and scheduling.
Requires attention to detail, ability to provide excellent customer service, reliability, punctuality, teamwork, excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and time management skills.

Kentucky Board of Pharmacy Registration PTCB Registration
Two years of previous work experience (in a related field). Prefer previous pharmacy tech experience or work/classes in medical field. Hired candidate must maintain state licensure in good standing. Must have 2 years of full-time (or pro-rated) pharmacy technician experience and must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
Ability to communicate (read, write, and converse) effectively in the English language while working with a diverse population.
