You will adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges. You will Influence or provide input to forecasting, planning activities, quality and compliance. This is a telecommute / Work from home position from anywhere in the state of Iowa. You will be required to be in the field with staff as needed throughout the state of Iowa. If you are located in Iowa, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities: Staff management, training, mentoring and engagement Performance management Quality and compliance Field Based quarterly audits with CHW staff Identifying areas for process improvement Change management – ability to support model changes and deployment needs
Required Qualifications: Current, unrestricted RN license in the State of Iowa 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role 3+ years of clinical experience Reliable transportation to travel to member homes or other locations as needed Ability to create, save and edit documents utilizing Microsoft Word Experience utilizing MS Excel spreadsheetsMust be able to navigate a Windows based environment and conduct internet searches Must have access to high speed internet for home office set upPreferred Qualifications: BSN Case management, utilization management and/or prior authorization experience Certification in Case Management (CCM) Home care and/or field based case management Medicaid and Medicare knowledge or experience Experience working with the needs of vulnerable or fragile populations who have chronic or complex bio-psychosocial needs Public health and/or community health experience Home and Community based or Long Term Care services delivery Critical care experience Experience managing a field based staff Careers with Optum.
