As a senior leader within our network contracting team, you'll guide the development and support of Provider Networks as well as unit cost management activities through financial and network pricing modeling, analysis and reporting. Primary Responsibilities:Guide development of geographically competitive, broad access, stable networks that achieve objectives for unit cost performance and trend management Own output of the entire system made up of all related processes Develop, translate and execute strategies or functional and operational objectives at the segment level Direct work that impacts the entire enterprise and marketplace This role is all about communication skills, relationship building and thriving in a significantly challenging, fast - paced atmosphere. We operate a complex, matrixed business that requires you to work through ambiguity even as you build relationships with some of our most focused and intense business leaders. You'll need to be able conceptualize effectively, communicate clearly and earn credibility within a demanding business environment.
Required Qualifications:10+ years of management experience in a handling complex customers and contract related negotiations with accountability for business results 8+ years of experience in contractual negotiations with payer and / or pharmaceutical manufacturers 5+ years of experience developing and managing a P&L and administrative budget 5+ years of management experience leading multiple teamsPreferred Qualifications: Undergraduate degree 5+ years of healthcare or clinical experienceCreating and fine-tuning provider networks helps improve access to health care for millions.
