The College of Nursing Student Services Office seeks to recruit an Administrative Services Coordinator to join their team responsible to provide operational, information management and communication support for its nursing programs. The responsibilities require exercising discretion in obtaining and providing factual and confidential information requiring knowledge of both assigned and related work areas and academic operations, as well as organizational guidelines. Characteristic duties include:
Operational support and management:
Maintain student compliance records (may include immunization, licensure, CPR, liabilities, etc.) held by compliance vendor, Castle Branch, via web interface for all nursing programs (Pre-licensure BSN, RN-BSN, MSN-CNL, DNP and PhD). Communicate compliance expectations with students and faculty.
Provide program-specific requirements for clinical experiences.
Serve as primary initiator of ancillary appointments for hospital ID badging for College of Nursing faculty, students and researchers.
Serve as primary requestor for Epic access for all nursing programs (including Epic Playground Environment). Serve as primary requestor for McKesson and Omnicell access for all students.
Schedule Epic training for nursing students.
Special-permission students into assigned courses/sections as directed.
Participate in committees as assigned.
Assist with major events and provide assistance with projects as assigned.
Enter student fees in MAUI system. Maintain preceptor CVs.
Process preceptor thank you letters and certificates.
Secure signatures and file affiliation agreements.
Collate preceptor, faculty and student evaluations.
Maintain student clinical assignments and clinic site spreadsheet.
Create and file plans of study for MSN and DNP programs.
Correct and modify existing plans of study as directed.
Evaluate requests and exercise discretion and judgment in providing confidential information to appropriate parties.
Create meeting agendas as well as compose and disseminate committee meeting minutes.
Secure materials to meet program goals.
Serve as the first contact for all student compliance inquiries.
Maintain regular communication with Student Services Team.
Compose original correspondence requiring discretion and judgment.

This requisition is intended to hire one individual for a specified term position funded for one year. Funding beyond beyond one year may be available, however is uncertain at this time.
