: We are seeking an Intern Summer \- R&D Grad\. The successful candidate will be responsible for development of Geographic Information Systems/Resource Assessment for deployment of attached algae cultivation systems for decontamination of agricultural runoff coupled to biomass production for petroleum displacing renewable commodities\. Performance of modeling tasks incorporating data from diverse sources \(USGS, NOAA, USDA, etc\) is required\. Proficiency in computational techniques with applications to engineered riverine and water runoff problems is preferred\. The successful candidate will generate protocols, logs and other documents for routine or special assignments; prepare and organize written data, reports, and other documents for assessing outcomes\. The candidate will present experimental results at group meetings and present a poster at the end of the summer internship session\. Required: You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements: + Earned bachelor's degree+ Currently attending and enrolled full time \(or scheduled to graduate in the spring\) in an accredited science, engineering, or math graduate program+ Minimum cumulative GPA of 3\.0/4\.0+ Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer+ U\.S\. citizenship Note: If you have not yet started your graduate program, please apply to an undergraduate intern position\. **Additional Requirements** + Undergraduate degree in chemical, civil, environmental or other related engineering program+ Current enrollment in related master's or Ph\.D\. program Desired: Experience with topics related to environmental microbiology, bioremediation, and marine, riverine, or groundwater systems preferred\.
