Responsibilities include providing comprehensive and accurate academic advising to undergraduate students; conveying curricular information and assisting students in selecting courses consistent with their developing goals and interests; helping students to understand university procedures and policies; monitoring student academic progress and advising on matters of petition; assisting students in navigating the university and making referrals to other university offices related to the student experience. Responsible for teaching multiple sections of university survey course each year. Ability to successfully liaison with other campus representatives and academic units required to ensure that information and referrals provided to students reflect the most current information.
A Master’s degree in Student Personnel, Guidance Counseling, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in academic advising or higher education.
Target Salary: $15.05 - $17.50 Hourly
