Primary Responsibilities:Supervise a team of 10+ employeesAssign work inventory on a daily basisEnsure team is meeting or exceeding established production metrics for all inventory typesSet priorities for the team to ensure task completionContinually assess and challenge work allocations methodologies and processes to improve turnaround timesMeet or exceed the established quality metrics for both field and form level accuracy at the team levelAnalyze audit data from trending reports and audits to determine root cause of errors or manual work and implement solutionsCoordinate work activities with other supervisorsIdentify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgmentUse reporting tools for measuring, tracking, documenting and communicating all staffs quantitative performance on a monthly, rolling 3 month and YTD basiMinimize down time to less than the established down time % at a team/individual levelHold monthly team meetings and one-on-one's with staffActively mentor staff and provide tools, resources and support needed to succeedBe able to provide specific examples that demonstrate coaching and staff developmentSupport, manage and contribute to all projects, expansion and new business initiativesReady for a challenge? And you'll need to juggle multiple priorities including doing auditing and reporting to support the business needs for accurate information
Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent work experience2+ years of supervisory experience, including hiring, performance reviews and disciplinary techniques2+ years of customer service or claims experience1+ years of data analysis and/or audit experience Intermediate level of proficiency in tracking, trending and reporting on metricsIntermediate proficiency in MS ExcelPreferred Qualifications:Experience in the healthcare industryExperience in managing cross functional projects and making presentationsProficiency in MS Access and PowerPointExperience with OHBS Facets, CSP Facets, NDB, COSMOSStrong organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting prioritiesData, technology and people are helping UnitedHealth Group play a leading role in health care change and performance.
