Manages overall regulatory reporting review and preparation in FSO. Current key regulatory reporting deliverables for FSO consist of Cash Balance of Payment Purpose of Payment reporting under ITIS (International Transaction Information System) and CCRIS (Credit Reference Information System) guidelines.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines.
Liaison with other departments/business units in collating data required for regulatory reporting.
Liaison with regulator(s) for ad-hoc queries, escalation, projects and any related communication on regulatory reporting matters.
Review and keep abreast with new regulatory reporting guidelines and communicate with other departments/business units for the new information required.
Ensures adequate staffing levels, effective expense and performance management, turnover, reporting, and forecasting trends to drive efficiencies.
Monitors internal processes to drive efficiencies and streamline processes and enhance process excellence.
Execute and integrate new capabilities, as required to facilitate regulatory reporting.
Lead and support regulatory reporting projects, including liaison with external vendor(s) and internal support teams.
Manage compliance and audit controls to ensure mitigation of risks related to submission of regulatory reports.
Provides leadership and direction to teams ensuring swift adoption of changes.
Develop and execute business continuity and event management processes.
Lead and develop high performance team, translate regulatory reporting changes into tactical action plans.
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in regulatory reporting function in a bank, handling ITIS and/or CCRIS reporting.
Experienced in dealing with process re-engineering and system change.
Solid knowledge of all applicable regulatory reporting requirement and guidelines.
Strong technical skills, including a good current working knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and platforms.
In-depth knowledge of project management principles and practice.
Sound knowledge of procedures and risk management/effective Quality Assurance.
Strong knowledge of treasury, cash management products, wholesale operations to enable effective operationalization of applicable regulatory reporting requirements.
Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet internal and regulatory deadlines and address competing priorities.
Ability to manage alliances, relationship with regulator(s), cross functional initiatives and process integration
Strong team player with proven abilities in effective stakeholder management
Solid knowledge on problem analysis and problem-solving
Effective written, listening and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, diligent and meticulous
