Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, Classified, CWA position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Note: This position is in the "NE" category of employment (non-fixed work week). The compensatory time policy for NL employees below applies to "NE" employees up to 40 hours per week. Beyond 40 hours, the overtime policy for fixed workweek employees applies (i.e., rate of time and one-half in payment or compensatory time).

Under the direction of Director of Applications, is responsible for independently performing professional work of greater difficulty using established policies, procedures and guidelines and also working as a member of a project team.
Analyze and advise units on campus regarding business processes relative to technical needs.
Act as Technical Liaison on assigned projects for Banner and other technical products.
Develop processes and reports using PL/SQL, SQL Plus, Argos, Microsoft Office suite of tools (Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and newly-introduced products.
Has strong interpersonal skills and works well with non-technical users.
Act as second-level liaison for Admin HelpDesk resolving Banner, Argos and Email related activities.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Serve on standing and ad hoc committees.
Provides advisory services such as consulting, supervision and/or in-service training to aid faculty and staff in working with students.
Keep technical skills up to date via online-learning courses, documentation and various other methods.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other Computer-related degree.
Two (2) years of experience in programming required. Familiarity with the Argos product. Experience in Banner, CRM and Advanced Microsoft Office products. Strong programming skills required.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, design, implement, monitor and troubleshoot processes that upload third-party application data into Banner.
Ability to train and supervise staff in the use of Ellucian Banner and other applications.
Ability to train and supervise student workers.
Ability to learn and utilize new languages and products to aid in serving the College population.
