The per diem Patient Experience Representative will be responsible for:
Providing administrative support for the Infant/Toddler Surgery Unit.
Interfacing with patients/families and staff to triage requests for information and services.
Organizing medical records, information, materials and supplies.
Serving as liaison to resolve equipment, supply, cleaning and safety issues.
Accessing hospital and department systems to enter and retrieve information.
Monitoring daily operations and communicating with clinicians and/or supervisor to maintain efficient patient/visitor flow.
Responding to requests for information and assistance, and providing general office support as required.
Providing positive and effective customer service and contributing to teamwork within and between departments.
Performing various administrative functions to support the operations of Surgical Programs.
To qualify, you must have:
A high school level education. Bachelor's degree preferred.
1 – 2 years of previous work experience. 2-3 years' experience in a hospital setting preferred.
The ability to interpret data and take appropriate action.
Excellent verbal & written communication, interpersonal, and analytic skills.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office.
**** We are looking for someone who can work Saturdays and Sundays from 4:30pm to 8:30pm, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts as needed. ****
