This position will serve as a member of the billing office. The primary duties include: collecting encounter forms; advising patients of charges; collecting payments; providing proper receipts to patients; accurately registering patients for labs/x-rays; discharging patients (e.g. make follow up appointments, etc.); balancing payments and cash drawer at end of day; answering multiple phone-lines; filing; preparing business forms (including cash & check transmittal); and greeting patients in a courteous manner as well as cross coverage for Employee Health front desk registration.
The ideal candidate will possess high attention to detail and efficiency; enjoy working independently as well as closely with their co-workers in a supportive team environment; stay focused in busy office environment; be well organized; ability to follow through to completion of tasks; possess excellent communication skills (both written & verbal); have strong problem solving skills; maintain quality assurance; computer skills to include UK SAP and Microsoft Office; and excellent customer service skills.

Required Related Experience:
Required License/Registration/Certification :
Associates degree preferred. Associates degree in Accounting or Business and at least 3 years experience in an office, banking, or medical office setting highly preferred.
