In this Senior IT Architecture Analyst role, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, performing options analysis, ensuring quality/alignment of Designs, and you will demonstrate and apply knowledge of enterprise architecture and standards. You will also be responsible for the development, communication and implementation of the organization's technology architecture and the components required to support it and the integration of corporate and technical architectures and applications. The resource is to play a key support role with the business and IT teams in the development of the product and strategic outlook. They will ensure the design is architecturally sound, minimizes technical debt, and evaluates for opportunities to reuse or create building blocks. We continue to fall short with the solution and designs of the application due to lack of seeing the products usage from an end to end and strategic perspective. There is need for a dedicated architect for the RxBuilder and Zynchros formulary applications due to the size, scale and complexity of the formulary projects. A dedicated architect will ensure that we are designing and developing the application(s) to support the volume of the combined organization and anticipated growth and ongoing formulary strategic projects are slated.Primary Responsibilities: You will assess and interpret customer needs and requirements You will be involved in solving moderately complex problems and/or conduct moderately complex analysis You will provide explanation and information to others on difficult issues You will coach, provide feedback and guide others You will maintain knowledge of current domains and strategic roadmaps You will identify/quantify scope and impact of business changes on systems You will incorporate software and system architecture into conceptual designs You will support applicable modeling efforts (e.g., data modeling, process modeling, hardware modeling, performance modeling) You will provide oversight of conceptual designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture governance (e.g., principles, policies, standards, future-state reference architectures) You will maintain awareness of current technology assets, and the applicability and capability of each You will be responsible for maintaining awareness of current business and industry issues/trends and incorporate into enterprise architecture designs as appropriate
Required Qualifications:Undergraduate degree or a minimum of 5 years of IT experience 5+ years of Information Technology Architecture Analysis experience 5+ years of development experience including full life cycle activities Experience with Agile methodology Solid understanding of industry patterns for application architecture and integration 5+ years of experience building multi-tier applications using (applicable skill set such as Java, .NET, etc.)Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) Health care industry experience Experience with Ab_INICIOUnitedHealth Group is working to create the health care system of tomorrow.
