Hillside has an opening for a Community Based Supervisor to work with our teams in the Southern Tier Region (Cuba, Bath and Jamestown, NY)! This person will supervise our Bridges to Health, Therapeutic Foster Care and Customized Service programs. This is a full time, 40 hour per week position.
Under the supervision and guidance of the Program Manager, the Community Based Supervisor with Bridges to Health (B2H), Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) and Customized Services is responsible for the quality of services delivered to clients and the performance of the Skill Builders/Waiver Service Providers. The Community Based Supervisor coaches their team in order to meet the needs of clients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Aligns the right work with the right people; delegates tasks according to people’s strengths and interests. Ensures staff has the skills and resources to be successful. Provides staff with coaching, training and opportunities for growth to improve their skills. Treats staff fairly and consistently. Shares accountability when delegating and involves staff in setting their performance goals.
Responsible for the administration of Human Resource related functions for assigned staff according to HFA policy and guidelines to include hiring, termination, performance evaluation and management, employee development, employee discipline/corrective action and employee compensation.
Communicates supports and links HFA mission, vision, values, goals, and strategies to everyday work and establishes clear, meaningful, challenging, and attainable objectives and expectations that are aligned with those of the organization.
Performs all Skill Builder/Waiver Service Provider functions as needed/required.
Is an active participant in agency and team meetings, volunteering and serving on agency and community committees as needed.
Attends and participates in required meetings (inclusive of supervisory training and educational opportunities for further professional growth).
Communicates on behalf of the team with families, internal and external resources and funders.
Master’s degree and licensure as either an LMHC or an LCSW (or higher) is required. Candidates must also have a minimum of 2 years of human services experience. Candidates must have a valid NYS driver’s license and must meet agency driving and insurance standards.
Additional Salary Information: Salary is based on education and amount of relevant experience.
