The Mathematics and Statistics Department at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse seeks two dedicated educators to join its ranks as Associate Lecturers on August 31, 2018. These positions are for the academic year 2018-2019, with possibility of annual renewal.
Duties/Responsibilities: Teach four introductory college mathematics and/or statistics courses averaging 16 contact hours per week, with two preparations.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree in Mathematics or Statistics OR Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or Statistics AND Master’s Degree in a related field.
2. Evidence of successful teaching of secondary or college level
The Mathematics and Statistics Department at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse has 28 faculty members and 9 instructional academic staff (Associate Lecturers and Lecturers). The Department offers traditional undergraduate mathematics majors and minors as well as majors with emphases in education, applied mathematics, and statistics. The Mathematics Department supports and values diversity in its faculty, staff, and students.
