Which is why your performance and innovation will find a reception here like nowhere else while you do your life's best work.(sm) As a Financial Consultant for OptumRx, you will be responsible for using analytics to grow and enhance the company's capabilities.Primary Responsibilities:Help generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, SG&A, provider performance, product line profitability, membership, and other areas of business Manage the pricing process for Specialty drugs across channels Recommend pricing guarantees based on assessment of risks Leverage business knowledge to propose innovative solutions to business problems Build and maintain financial models used in the RFP process Evaluate and recommend alternative pricing options based on economic, competitive analyses and trends Assess the risk of pricing guarantees offered Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Industry Relations teams to analyze financial impacts for new services and products Gather, manipulate, summarize and analyze large data sets. Present findings and recommendations Analyze competitor price points, product offerings, fee structures, and contract terms Design and produce dashboards, ad hoc reports and tracking metrics to assist Sales and Leadership teams in understanding and managing the business Perform ad-hoc studies and analyses as needed Stay informed of advancements in pharmaceutical industry trends
