Under the direction of the Sr. Advisor, Global Programs, manage office operations and coordinate conference logistics for the Office of Global Programs (OGP) through the development and implementation of office policies and procedures. Manage and reconcile office related expenses and budget. Create and maintain databases, program files and handbooks. Develop and maintain a process for scheduling travel and appointments for the Vice President for Global Programs and select faculty visiting OGP sites. Interpret and implement travel protocols while bridging feedback from faculty regarding travel process. Serve as OGP travel liaison with faculty and administration.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Education: Master's in Higher Education or equivalent
Required Experience: 2 to 3 years' professional experience supporting an executive in a corporate setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional experience managing events and office and business operations.
Preferred Experience: Experience in an academic or non-profit environment.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Attention to detail and good judgement are a must. Excellent organizational, planning, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Ability to take initiative and manage a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously. Ability to act in a professional and confidential manner with all levels of employees and outside groups and effectively respond to simultaneous requests and projects. Knowledge of advanced functions for MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint).
