This position manages the identification, cultivation, and stewardship of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington (BGCGW) corporate relationships. This will include new revenue sources via corporate grants, as well as planning and executing strategic corporate and UWNCA/CFC events and employee engagement opportunities. In addition, the position will support donor relations and building an effective stewardship program at BGCGW for all donors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Research and implement a plan to streamline corporate giving strategies for current and new corporate donors
Track and manage all corporate proposals, grant applications, and stewardship reports by working closely with branch, regional, and resource development colleagues and occasionally BGCA staff members
Plan and execute strategic corporate events and engagement opportunities strategically aligned with branch directors’ vision and needs
Partner with resource development team to determine the best strategies for effective stewardship of all donors with an emphasis of donors at the $10,000+ levels.
Support cultivation and solicitation for special events’ sponsorship, as applicable
Maintain accountability to database, administrative systems, procedures and the corporate grants/events calendar and corporate pipeline
Create marketing materials to steward all donors, includes but not limited to social media, website updates, special event thank you letters, and newsletters
Align with resource development team to become a leader among peers as measured externally in terms of total dollars, percentage participation, consistency of giving, and average gift size and internally in terms of clean data, ease of access to data and timely donor stewardship
