The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for managing the Fielding School of Public Health's key organizational data sources. Duties include: building easy-to-use and intuitive data dashboards and making recommendations to facilitate organizational data-driven decision-making; policy and procedure development by senior leadership within the School; managing the school's online public data portal, which features our faculty members' publicly available data; leading the overall management and ongoing implementation of the school's lecture-capture initiative - Mediasite; and providing programmatic leadership to deans and directors in the school as needed in areas of organizational policy, procedure, and initiative development.
The incumbent will also provide specific support to the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Associate Dean for Administration, Associate Dean for Practice and the Director of Strategic Projects in the areas of strategic planning implementation, information systems development and management, creation and management of data repositories, process improvement initiatives at the School and distance learning and online learning initiatives. Other special projects as needed.

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Design, Management Information Systems, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field or combination of education and relevant work experience.
4 or more years of experience assessing the quality of raw data, cleaning the data, and preparing it for use in data visualization software.
4 or more years of experience in data visualization using Tableau, BIME, or a similar BI tool.
4 or more years of experience distilling large amounts of data into meaningful insights to present to technical and non-technical audiences.
Understand and apply best practices related to reporting, dashboards, and data visualization
Demonstrated ability to organize projects and bring them to a successful conclusion.
Experience preparing and presenting data insights, and making data-driven recommendations to senior leadership that will drive institutional change.
