Department Name: 3J530:Human Resources Training and Development
The Training Specialist supports Human Resources Training & Development- Professional Development. This position will develop, deliver, and assess the effectiveness of professional development training programs for the University end-user; consult with managers and departments on potential performance related problems and recommend solutions; work collaboratively with team members to plan curriculum development and schedule of classes; and fulfill other assigned administrative responsibilities like maintenance of training rooms, marketing and promotion of classes, etc.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience developing, delivering, and assessing professional development training programs; proficient in Microsoft Office; excellent attention to detail; strong communication and presentation skills; exceptional planning and organizational skills; effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to solve routine problems and manage resources; demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service, time management, and judgment; and respect for confidentiality and diversity.
