It's an opportunity to do your life's best work.Primary Responsibilities:Register patients according to the department policy and proceduresVerifies all financial / insurances information and charge into appropriate systemKeep abreast of current insurance regulations in order to provide assistance to patientsMaintains current knowledge baseEnter patient information into appropriate system
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED (or higher)Candidates must be able to work a planned Per Diem schedule, varying days, with two guaranteed days per week. Must have the availability to support various shifts and days, including weekends and holidays when needed1+ year of insurance reimbursement and financial verification experienceMust be able to accommodate 6 weeks of training, between the hours of 8 AM and 6 PMMust have the ability to use MS Word, Excel and Outlook to create, edit, copy, send and save documents, correspondence and spreadsheetsPreferred Qualifications:Some college experienceBilingual fluency in English and SpanishSoft Skills:Comfortable performing job duties in multiple areas of the buildingCareers with OptumInsight.
