As a Director of Pharmacy with Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) at RiverView Health you will oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs with the assistance of 6 Pharmacists (3 full time and 3 per diem) and 4 full time Pharmacy Technicians (1 being a 340B Technician). As Director of Pharmacy with CPS you will have a full support team available to you including a Regional Manager, Regional Clinical Director, 340B Specialist, Regulatory Specialist, Drug Information Specialist, Finance Director and more. This position also includes staffing one weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday from 8a-4:30p).

Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD)
Current MN license in good standing
At least 3 years recent experience as an inpatient hospital Pharmacist
Experience with 340b programs
Experience working with EPIC system is preferred
Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
Ability to work cooperatively with other members of CPS and hospital and pharmacy staff
About the Facility: RiverView Health is a Joint Commissioned accredited facility, comprised of 25 critical access inpatient beds, a 24 bed Skilled Nursing Memory Care Unit, a 105 bed off site Skilled Nursing Facility (Vila St. Vincent) and 7 Clinics (3 on site and 4 off site). The pharmacy is centralized and located on the first floor of the hospital. EPIC is utilized along with Omnicell cabinets, as well as RX30. The inpatient pharmacy hours of operation are Monday-Friday 7am-9pm and weekends 8am-4:30pm and provide retail pharmacy services Monday-Friday 7:30am-7:30pm and weekends 8am-4:30pm. There is remote order entry pharmacy coverage when the pharmacy is closed. The day to day operation of the pharmacy is managed by Comprehensive Pharmacy Services.
