Challenge yourself, your peers and our industry by shaping what health care looks like and doing your life's best work.(sm) Position SummaryWe are seeking a Identity and Access Management Security Engineer for our Richardson, TX location to be a part of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, this position requires knowledge on various IAM products such as CA Siteminder, LDAP Directory servers, CA Identity Manager, Secure Proxy Server. It also requires knowledge on SAML Federation products such as Ping Federate and Multi-factor authentication products CA RiskMinder and RSA Adaptive Authentication. The person is responsible for acting as the functional identity and access management subject matter expert (SME). The responsibilities include the following: 1) analyzing all aspects of the existing infrastructure and recommending modifications that will enhance system reliability, availability, serviceability and scalability; 2) following and enforcing high-availability and resiliency standards on existing infrastructure; 3) assisting in defining standards, guidelines, best practices, metrics and continuous validation of best practices; 4) planning and executing high-availability tests; 5) using troubleshooting skills to solve unique and complex problems related to infrastructure; 6) learning and deploying new security products as needed; 7) working in areas of operational support and implementations; 8) managing patching and upgrades of security infrastructure; 9) conducting application server tuning; 10) developing pioneering approaches to emerging identity and access management industry trends; 11) brain storm with the application teams regarding various authentication mechanisms to match the business requirements and architect/implement the solution; 12) address the security related vulnerabilities and suggest the fix; 13) in depth knowledge on the monitoring tools like Sitescope, CA Wily, Splunk and Application Performance Management; 14) Responsible for the SiteMinder Infrastructure and building new policy servers for the existing infrastructure to handle the increasing load; and 15) participate in the on-call rotation team and monitor the supported IAM products.
QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or related field. 5 years related progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Will accept experience gained concurrently. Must have 12 months demonstrated ability with each of the following: (1) A subject matter expertise in the Identity and Access Management products including CA SiteMinder, LDAP, CA Identity Manager, Secure Proxy Server, SAML Federation products and multi factor authentication products; (2) Ability to brainstorm the various architectural single sign on solutions with the application team and handle the whole life cycle of application integration; (3) Monitoring and instrumentation of the SSO products using CA APM, Sitescope, Wily & Splunk Technologies; (4) Web server administration using CA Secure Proxy Servers , IIS, Apache, IBM HTTP WebServers on which CA webagent plugin will be integrated; and (5) Ability to solve unique and complex problems related to infrastructure, analyzing all aspects of the existing infrastructure and recommending modifications that will enhance system reliability, availability, serviceability and scalability.
