Job Posting: The Temporary Management Assistant II will provide administrative support to the HR Nursing Lines of Business. Job duties include: - Answering the main line for HR Nursing Lines of Business, triaging calls accordingly and resolving inquiries - First point of contact for HR policy questions - Managing deliveries via OptiFreight - tracking packages sent, received, etc - Gathering information for investigations - Monthly reports/composing documents - Assist with preparing presentations - PowerPoint experience is necessary - Managing calendars for Clinical Support & Nursing LOBs - providing availability and coordinating meetings - As needed, ordering through Sodexo catering for meetings - Submitting Service Center & maintenance requests - EIS, equipment and system access - Working in Microsoft Office to prepare reports as needed for HR Nursing LOB - Back-up support to Management Assistants while on vacation or away from the office - Other duties as assigned This is a Temporary position and temporary employment may conclude on or before June 30, 2018, or if needed, extended to an agreed upon date that will be filed with HR. Note: New Hires must successfully pass a background check, a prohibited substance screening and a pre-employment health screening.
Qualification Requirements/Preferences: Education Certifications/Licensure Experience Physical Abilities Education Requirements: - High School Diploma Required. - Two years of college courses or Bachelor's Degree preferred. Experience: - Two to three years progressively responsible office and administrative experience, such experience demonstrating ability to independently establish administrative and office procedures; ability to identify problems and resourcefulness to resolve them independently and on own initiative. - Ability to type proficiently (60-75 WPM) - Must possess a minimum computer competency comprised of working knowledge of Windows or comparable system (specifically including keyboarding and mouse skills). - Must additionally possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, presentation development, E-mail, browsers and on-line reporting - Prior experience with PeopleSoft a plus. Also DocuSign and Concur Physical Demands: - Ability to work in an office environment, ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, answer phones, safely lift up to 35 lbs, bend, stand and stoop. - Daily errands will require walking throughout the Medical Center and include ability to walk throughout all areas of the immediate and adjacent Medical Center and Health System campus.
